Today marks Apple’s 32nd birthday.  The good folks over at Ars Technica have compiled a list of 32 years, 32 memorable products released by the company.  It’s interesting to look back and remember some of the fond memories of my youth growing up playing Number Munchers, Math Blaster, and The Oregon Trail on those old Apple IIs.  Ahh The Oregon Trial on an Apple II…so so so so so so sooo much better than the “Oregon Trail” app on Facebook.  Bah.  I mean SRSLY!  You couldn’t spend an extra few hours programming the little dude to walk around and shoot 1 pixel dots at poorly drawn creatures?  Instead, the brilliant interface you come up with is a 3×3 grid of question marks that reveal themselves when you’re done?  C’mon. But, here’s to 32 more years of Apple, and to the stock continuing to rally…sort of.  Little did I know I’d be an Apple Fanboy all those years ago.   (Side note:  ”fanboy” does not get a red squiggly line in my spellcheck.  Interesting.)
