Just when Sony thought they could wipe their brow and relax after Toshiba gave up on HD-DVD, they’re now being investigated by the U.S. International Trade Commission.  The investigation centers around possible patent infringement related to the players and other devices.  The lawsuit likely won’t stop the domination of Blue-ray, but could lead to some thinner profit margins if extra technology has to be licensed.
