Wall Street continues to selloff, but Zune outshines iPods on Amazon

Wall Street continues to get hammered after a downgrade of Citigroup rekindled mortgage concerns. Across the board tech seemed hit pretty hard.
However, and I don’t have stats for this, but I’m pretty sure this is a first for the Zune–the 30-gigabyte, $134 Zune digital media player was ranked the No. 1 bestseller in the “Electronics” category of Amazon.com, outselling the iPod line.
It remains to be seen how long the Zune will stay on the top of the charts, but this is certainly a minor win for Microsoft this week as retailers gear up for the holiday season.
