Not much new this week. Labor Day doesn’t spell big money for b.o. reciepts and judging from this crop of new releases that goes for retail as well.
DVD:
The Wind That Shakes the Barley- the 2006 Palme d’Or winner at Cannes this one is worth checking out at least to help you with your street cred in regards to film.
If you’ve never seen it try out the “High-larious Edition” of “Cheech and Chong’s Up in Smoke”
If neither of those strike your fancy make sure to see “The Lives of Others” or even try reading. I recomend “Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq”
